Luckless Release New Single and Video

Indie/rock duo, Luckless have just released their new single, ‘When You Asked Her to Stay’, a sonic, up tempo rock song, marking a departure from the previous slow burner, ‘Road Retreats’. Reminiscent of a Sparklehorse anthem, Rossiter’s distinct vocals, a wall of electric guitar, feedback and clever chord changes etch this track to memory.

The feverish black-and-white stop-motion video was created by Ruffell Productions, featuring director, Tim McInnes with breathtaking stills photography by Sabin Holloway.

Luckless are set to play the four main centres this July in celebration of the Vindication Blues release. Alongside Rossiter’s voice and guitar is returning drummer Logan Compain (Carthaginian, Bond St Bridge), with help from Rob Collins on bass (Dictaphone Blues, Heavy Jones Trio) and Ben Eldridge also on guitar (Warlords Of Atlantis, Heavy Jones Trio).
