NZ film The Dark Horse to Screen in July

NZ independent film, The Dark Horse is premiering in Auckland at Rialto Cinemas on July 30th.

 The film is about one-time Maori speed-chess champ, Genesis Potini (Cliff Curtis) who lives with a bi-polar disorder. Potini must overcome prejudice and violence in the battle to save his struggling chess club, his family and ultimately, himself.

 Aeroplane Music was proud to be music supervisor for this project, licensing local artists such as Beastwars, Rikki Morris and Supervillains and international musicians Seasick Steve and Lynard Skynard.
