DECADES ANNOUNCE DEBUT ALBUM ‘THE TRUTH AND OTHER PEOPLE’

Christchurch rock band Decades will release their debut album THE TRUTH AND OTHER PEOPLE, out via Warner Music NZ on July 14th.

The album includes previously released singles ‘Terrified’, ‘If It Kills Me’ and ‘I Was With Him’, along with their brand new single ‘Get Me Home’.

THE TRUTH AND OTHER PEOPLE came together in Studios in the City, Melbourne, with local rock wizard and producer Tom Larkin (Shihad, Villainy).

“Often a taboo subject; but one I feel a lot of people my age experience when going through that development stage from late teenager in to adulthood, this album describes a period of time where you really start to figure out your own life path, values, passions, and seek to surround yourself with people who share these with you,” says Emma. “It’s a hard story to tell; growing up, growing apart, the effects other people can have on each other, and finding the strength to tell the truth to people, but more importantly; to yourself.”

Following the release of the album Decades will hit the road with Skinny Hobos, Dead Favours and Bakers Eddy, playing in five centres across the country.

The ALL OUR TRUTHS tour  kicks offin Hamilton on July 14, before heading to Auckland on July 15, Wellington on July 22, Christchurch on July 28, and Dunedin on July 29.
