Auckland City Limits will be held at Western Springs on March 3, with a lengthy list of international and local acts just announced.
The two biggest announcements were headliners Grace Jones and Beck, plus French electronic music duo Justice and synth-pop stars Phoenix.
Other announcements were Australian artists Peking Duk, Tash Sultana, English musos George Ezra and The Libertines, Los Angeles cosmic funk musician Thundercat, Seattle indie folksters The Head and The Heart, Australian electronic music group The Avalanches, London-based alt-pop duo Oh Wonder, American indie rock band Car Seat Headrest, English folk rock group The Staves, Norwegian singer Sigrid,
Kiwi acts include The D4, Aaradhna, Head Like a Hole, Katchafire, Swidt, Drax Project with Fabulous/Arabia, Disasteradio, Scott Manion, Magic Factory, The Beths, John Lemmon, Dominic Hoey (Tourettes), DJ Tina Turntable and DJ Linda T.
The festival is loosely based on the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas that started out in 1976.
Early bird tickets at $179.90 go on sale via Ticketmaster at 9am on November 1st.
