avoid!avoid have been making sporadic appearances around the Auckland live scene for the past 18 months. Their driving pyschospheric drone has proven appealing, earning them a spot at The Other's Way festival and the coveted Fall support slot.

Now they have a new single out in advance of their forthcoming album Particle And Wave, which is released via Flying Nun on April 1st - no kidding! The new track 'Drones' is a concise slice of motorik krautiness clocking in at a mere 8 minutes and 14 seconds in duration.
