Eva Prowse Joins Songbroker

Eva Prowse has entranced many with a charming presence, mysterious electro-folk-pop quirks, and mad skills on violin, vocals, keys and guitar.

Best know for performing with New Zealand super-group Fly My Pretties and on their two live albums – 2009’s A Story, 2011’s Fly My Pretties IV.

She has supported the legendary American singer, Wanda Jackson, sung for the Royal NZ Ballet, and featured on the 2009 NZ Music Award Folk Award winning album Trouble on the Waterfront.

Her debut album I Can’t Keep Secrets, released in October 2010, produced by Samuel Flynn Scott (The Phoenix Foundation), meanders delicately through ten tracks of folk, layered on a foundation of melodic pop sensibilities.

Along with releasing her own album, Eva has recorded violin for Family Cactus’ album Spirit Lights, as well as backing vocals and violin for Barnaby Weir’s solo album Tarot Card Rock and Will Rickett’s solo album West Wind.

Eva has just finished recording her sophomore album, Humid Nights, due for release early 2016.
