Auckland based artist Tipare has just released her debut single ‘Backbiters’ – out 27th June.

Tipare’s world is one full of music, culture and politics, where history and its connections play a huge part.

‘Backbiters’ is a collaboration between Tipare and respected kiwi musician, Laughton Kora – Kora producing the track and Tipare supplying melody and lyrics. The result is a raw, soul baring track devoid of unnecessary embellishments that might dilute its powerful message.
