Tricks & Sleeves release new album 'Locked out Of Space'

Building on the success of their self titled EP, Tricks & Sleeves have teamed up with Aeroplane Music Records, creating a sophisticated sophomore album brimming with infectious indie pop offerings housing pure blues-rock undertones.

This eclectic and well-crafted collection embraces the sweeping involvement of 90’s Rock, the broad licks of Jack White and even a few whispering rhythms reminiscent of early Neil Young.

Having returned from USA in 2013 with a suitcase full of Boston-inspired demos, lead singer Karl Jacobsen teamed up with long-time collaboratorGareth Van Niekerk.

With a scrapbook full of new songs between them, the duo recruited fellow Jacobsen cousins Aaron and Jesse, and Tricks & Sleeves emerged. Right away, the quartet produced their self-titled EP, packed with melodies that acknowledge the rambles of Ryan Adams, and hints of the ethereal haunt produced by Band Of Horses.

Locked Out Of Space is now available for sale on iTunesBandcamp and all good digital providers. CDs will be purchasable from Bandcamp and upcoming live shows.

Tricks & Sleeves will be performing on October 8th at The Ding Dong Lounge.
